A Family Center "Ask the Experts" presentation with Colleen McDonald and Kevin Snycerski, of Senior Helpers, will teach you to recognize which stage of dementia a person is experiencing for better engagement and interaction.

Senior Gems is a program on Alzheimer's and dementia care. Developed by nationally renowned dementia expert Teepa Snow, the focus of the Senior Gems is on what people with dementia can do, instead of what they cannot do. Teepa's gems classification system allows us to understand which stage of dementia the person is experiencing so we can create the best service plan for the individual. Presented by Colleen McDonald and Kevin Snycerski, certified Senior Gems trainers and Dementia Care specialists, Senior Helpers.
