Ask the Experts Talk with Paddy Laske, Director, Community & Workplace Programs, CARE of Southeastern Michigan.

Your teen is choosing friends/activities that concern you. Gone is the little child who just wanted to be with you all the time. A question quickly turns on their defenses and instead of learning what's going on, you're more in the dark than ever - what do you do?

How we choose to respond in these difficult situations can have a tremendous impact. This presentation will review a simple step-by-step plan that encourages opportunities for honest, respectful dialogue and setting parental boundaries that work.

Presented by The Family Center in partnership with Grosse Pointe Memorial Church on April 14, 2016.
